The spirit of Nipsey Hussle is alive and well at Invest Fest 2024, currently underway in Atlanta. The festival, which focuses on empowering Black entrepreneurs and investors, has partnered with the late rapper's Marathon Clothing brand to launch the "Nipsey Hussle Business Grant Pitch Competition." The competition will award a $100,000 grant to a promising entrepreneur, embodying Hussle's passion for fostering the next generation of business leaders.
Blacc Sam, Hussle's brother and a key figure in the Marathon Clothing brand, spoke passionately about the initiative. He emphasized that the grant aligns perfectly with Hussle's belief in supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. "Anytime Hussle seen anybody young or um that had ambition to to to go for it and do something especially with entrepreneurship he he thrived off of that," Sam shared.
The competition is open to Invest Fest ticket holders, who are invited to submit an Instagram video explaining their business and how the grant would help them. The top four finalists will pitch their ideas live on stage at Invest Fest, with the winner receiving the $100,000 grant.
In addition to the grant competition, Invest Fest also unveiled a wax figure of Nipsey Hussle, further solidifying his legacy as an icon of entrepreneurship and community empowerment. The wax figure serves as a powerful reminder of Hussle's impact and his enduring message of self-reliance and financial literacy.

The collaboration between Invest Fest and Marathon Clothing underscores the festival's commitment to honoring Hussle's vision and inspiring a new generation of Black entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. As Blacc Sam eloquently put it, "The marathon continues."
