Grammy-nominated R&B artist Lavoyce Embarks on YouTube Journey to Inspire Artists

Lavoyce, a Grammy-nominated artist known for her soulful voice and authentic approach to R&B, has launched a new YouTube channel to connect with fans and inspire fellow creatives.  The Dallas-born artist now calls Los Angeles home and is excited to embark on this new journey to share her creative process with the world.    

Lavoyce’s musical journey began in Dallas, where she developed her skills and gained recognition for her unique blend of R&B, soul, and hip-hop.  In 2020, she swept the Dallas Observer Music Awards, solidifying her status as a rising star.  That same year, she released her mixtape “LV Tape, Vol. 1.”    

Following her success in Dallas, Lavoyce made a bold move to Los Angeles to pursue new opportunities and collaborations.  This transition, though potentially daunting, proved to be a pivotal moment in her career.  She quickly immersed herself in the LA music scene, collaborating with renowned producers and artists.    

One of Lavoyce's most notable achievements was her collaboration with Coco Jones on the song "Plan B," which earned her a Grammy nomination.  “We just had really good chemistry and like working together, so we started doing a bunch of other sessions together.  We got in with [rapper/producer] London on da Track, and then we did ‘Double Back,’ which ended up being one of her singles.”    

This Grammy nomination was a dream come true for Lavoyce and a testament to her hard work and dedication.  "It's something I've always aspired to have," she shared.    

Lavoyce's new YouTube channel is an extension of her desire to connect with her audience and inspire fellow creatives.  She plans to share her journey, insights, and creative process, offering a behind-the-scenes look at her life as an artist.
